Legacy in Congress: Who We've Helped Elect
over the last 44 years, the Council has helped elect 118 U.S. arms control candidates to the Senate and 199 candidates to the House of Representatives.

Along with its sister organization, the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, the Council has been at the forefront of U.S. arms control and national security policy for nearly half a century.
Drinan Award
The Father Robert F. Drinan National Peace and Human Rights Award is annually presented by the Council and its sister organization to individuals who exemplify the late Father Drinan's commitment to peace and human justice.
